Something about Boston’s buses just always seems dingy and dated to me in a way that other city’s buses do not. I’m not sure if they don’t clean them well, or if they use a white shade to hide dirt that instead makes them always look dirty, or if they use designs that have too much ‘80s boxiness, but something they do just make the buses seem really unappealing at first glance. Apparently some of their new hardware will be silver instead of white (which does look better on the S ilver L ine).

you know if a presidential candidate came up with a platform built around banning white, beige, black, silver, and grey cars, I’d vote for him/her.

that view just looks so bleak. and the cars aren’t helping.

I think that Highlander is blue, but just barely . So according to this test pool 9 /10 cars have color to speak of, ignoring the wood that is.

That yellow stripe looks lifted straight from the 1970s. The boxy front profile doesn’t help either. They’d look better if they did full wraps, like this:

They do have newer, less boxy ones. Here’s one of their newest ones:

Even brand new though, it just looks run down in a way that stikes me as unusual.

And of course, even that boxy one is at most 12 years old.
